Autumn in Germany

I haven’t been blogging since going back to Germany, so I want to post two photos. We have very sunny weather this week, leading to cold mornings and warm afternoons. The trees have already lost most of their leaves, forming thick carpets on the ground, like here at my university.

The second photo shows the Friedensplatz (“Peace Square”) in downtown Dortmund. Usually it isn’t this quiet around there, but I took the photo on a Sunday morning. šŸ˜‰

The buildings in the back are mostly used by the city administration. Notice how the old and semi-old buildings to the left and right are connected by a new glass hall.
