A wonderful sunny day, colorful leaves – perfect for taking pictures!
Around noon it was warm enough to sit outside in a t-shirt, which is what I did while eating lunch, right before taking these photos. 🙂
Afterwards I went to my Kanji class. Among others, we learned the word (and kanji) for bamboo shoots, which you might have noticed in the ramen bowl from my previous post. “Bamboo” is 竹 (take), bamboo shoots are 竹の子 (take no ko). The Japanese word for autumn is “秋” (Aki).
とてもいい秋ですね。 (A very nice autumn, isn’t it?)
