チューリップ – A Japanese children’s song

My Japanese teacher brought us some Japanese children’s songs today, and I thought I’d link one of them. It’s really cute and good practice: simple grammar and clear pronunciation. チューリップ (Chuurippu) means “Tulip.”

Edit 2013-01-13: Changed the video because the previously linked one was removed.

Link: チューリップ

The Japanese lyrics are in the video, so I’m just going to add a quick translation:

The tulips are blossoming, blossoming
Next to each other
Red, white, yellow
No matter which one you look at,
They’re beautiful

I think it should be easy to learn the colors from the video even if you knew no Japanese until now. 🙂
